I remember seeing the bridge scene at the end of the Moria Mines part in LOTR in HD for the first time and thinking how awful some of the CGI was, especially the flames. I often get the same feeling re-watching the Star Wars prelogy. Lower quality somehow helped CGI blend in with live footage, and HD sometimes makes it look like in-production unrefined previews.

The only thing I noticed is that the make up & skin quality of the various actors & actresses just ain't cutting it, in HiDef.
