Hey Wheels, a question for you or for Aardvark the maker of the mission;
How do I get the following scenarios to show up in single player?:
Blue "None" N = Okinawa. American Carrier Task Force is the target, with enemy fighters between you and the flat-tops.
Blue "None" A = Italy Online. Hit the British ships, while starting behind enemy fighters.
Blue "None" D = Online8Island map. Attack the Russian ships while being jumped by enemy fighters behind you!
I mean I presume I only can use the 'Torpedoes Away' map. How can I get the Russian, British & American Task forces to attack? What does N, A & D stand for?
The missions you are looking at are simply templates that the QMB uses to generate the missions with different aircraft. None of the waypoints for the aircraft flights change and none of the ships or vehicles, etc. change their programmed paths either.
You can however generate a QMB mission and save it as a .trk and then convert the .trk file to a .mis file that you can play or alter using the FMB.
The explanation for BlueNoneN, BlueNoneA, BlueNoneD is also covered in the Adding maps to the QMB tutorial.
Blue = Axis forces, Red = Allied forces
NoneN = No advantage, Head on pass
NoneA = Player Advantage, You are attacking the enemy from behind
NoneD = Player Disadvantage, The enemy is attacking you
These are strictly naming conventions that the QMB uses to chose which template to use to generate the missions. The template maker must set up the conditions to match what the player is expecting since the QMB simply calls the template and changes the template to match the input from the QMB Gui.
