I find myself being a much bigger fan of the recent SW games than of the recent SW movies. Only "Rogue One" did I find to be well done. SW has been MUCH better on the small screen with "The Mandalorian".

Agreed, and I thought Andor was also well done.

I noticed this morning that it was 14 years ago (2010) today that my oldest son was sworn in as a USMC recruit. So I asked him if it was intentional that he was sworn in on Star Wars day given that he is a big SW fan. He laughed and said no he didn't realized that at the time. Then we looked it up and "May The Forth" only became a Star Wars thing a year later, in 2011.

Nice story F4U. Is your son still active duty?

Yes, good story F4U, and good info on May The 4th - I thought it had been a thing for a long time and I had just been clueless about it.

Well, he can be that and still be in the USMC! biggrin

The majority of my friends and acquaintances who were in the USMC did their 4 years and then got out.

Same. He became a bit disillusioned given the political climate at the time.
