Here's a 'downer' comment by Hornit from the E3 Show on Iraq Freedom:
"I picked up a bit of bad news for those interested in Graphsim's latest Hornet simulation. I can't say who it was but a well respected member of the flightsim community related his experience with a "beta" or preview copy he had seen. It appears its just another rehash of Hornet Korea/Stirkefighter with desert terrain. Can you say Xicat? Nothing much new and the same old 3D models etc. Its a shame, I was kind of looking forward to this one too! I was told not to waste my time. This sim was also absent E3 which is interesting considering it is not far from a release I believe."

Yeah just looked at some shots, looks just like Hornet Korea and Hornet 3.0. Man I thought we had something new. Why do they keep doing this, I mean wouldn't you think the last updated game would have hurt sells?
well, we have soundly dashed it against the rocks for its subpar visuals, but what of the gameplay, avionics, training? if those are good, then it is worth it to me.

I AGREE...i dont mind the graphics myself...not too bad...but things like the gear disappearing and no rudder movement really sucks.
i'm up for nice ai and a better fm and some of that animation...and the rest i can deal with...i just wish it was in directx and not opengl though..psf doesnt render right in opengl for me..i have a gef4 ti4600 and msi 6xxx mobo.
neither win98, or xp or any driver set makes a difference.
i had no such probs with my gef2 and duron 900.
im looking forward to seeing this..
