Thanks for the Heads-up PM .much appreciated
No problem! If you ever do try it out I would be curious to read your thoughts on the game.

today I got started with "Pathfinder - Kingmaker".
Whenever possible in games, my Wife is the Heroine and I am the "god" watching over her. So, "step one" is to Modify the Heroine images (as used in-game) and her statistics (cheat). I'm on "step one" as shown in the attached images. I used a picture of her and other art. I'm being turned off by the in-game depiction of the "Pathfinder - Kingmaker" game world. Its many unexpectedly-tiny areas connected by what is effectively "teleportation". I prefer "open world" -- or, at least substantial areas to explore. I may give it a bit more time to see if the story works for me.

Looks like John Travolta's dance floor from Saturday Night Fever.

7D2D Game just rocks. About 2000 hours with this ... A place called Navegzane after an apocylips. Zombies will come after your butt from everywhere. I like it and when you get strong enuff you can hold your ground. It starts with the player in his boxer shorts and dam all else. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=2qDdigMj8Xc

X4 continues to amaze me. Imagine standing on the bridge of those ships while issuing orders to the crew: Guess what? You can. If this were in VR, I cannot imagine how intense the experience would be. Every ship costs hard earned money from a corporation I had to create, water, seed and grow from scratch. Losses are meaningful and painful.

Another month has sailed past, where does it go?
In that time I've been playing
Fallout 4 -- Picked up my save having already completed the main campaign, and now I'm dabbling in the DLC and just patrolling, stirring it up. Playing on Survival mode which transformed my experience. One neat thing is there's no level cap for the first time in the series and so I just keep on going.
Rome 2 -- Finished off an Iceni run in the Imperator Augustus companion campaign.
Three Kingdoms -- Finished several campaigns. Waiting for the Thanksgiving sale in case Warhammer 3 might be in it.
No, now go away or I shall taunt you a second time!

I don't even know what the majority of the things listed are.

I continue to play X4. This has got to be the closest one can get to being in "Space Battleship Yamato/Star Blazers" in any game, ever. Capital ships, fighters, space stations, full economy, business empires, giant battles, and you can participate in first person or command from the bridge or even be across the galaxy issuing orders through the strategic map.
Interesting thought: "Space Battleship Yamato" predated "Star Wars" by nearly three years. Huge space battles before they became a household experience courtesy of Lucas.

I don't even know what the majority of the things listed are. I'm not surprised. I believe you are exclusively a flight simmer?

It wouldn't surprise me if Lucas took some inspiration from that anime series.

Last one I played a lot was Silent Hunter 4 (Pacific). I skipped on 5 because of all the technical problems and poor reviews it had on release.
