Why would Robert De Niro agree to be in this trash? For money? He doesn't need money! I wondered the same thing when he did that Rocky & Bullwinkle live action movie about 20 years ago. I really scratched my head on that one.

It's a Vin Diesel action movie. Some of his movies are brainless and barely good enough for killing time. The only movies I care about from him are the "Riddick" movies. I've seen a couple of the Fast & Furious movies because a girl I was dating in the past wanted to see them. I thought they were retarded.

I have a penchant for TV series and films of a Dystopian nature.....seem to have lost my taste for them for some reason in the last few days! Especially after having to go to a Supermarket's early opening exclusively for the elderly......it resonated of the first series of the 'Walking Dead'. Having said that, prompted by posts discussing the similarity to the current crisis, I revisited the original 'Survivors' BBC series of 1975. All the villains were portrayed as sneering upper-class and aristo Cads and Bounders. The heroes were all fine Middle Class Chaps, the main character having a bouffant comb-over that was not disturbed by rough-housing with rum coves and ne'er do wells. The Lower classes despite the complete breakdown of society still removed their caps, cast down their gaze, and shifted uncomfortably from foot to foot whilst being patronisingly addressed by their betters. The women just fainted, twisted their ankles and screamed a lot. Unfortunately, due to low production budgets, one can see busy motorway traffic and suchlike in the background, and civil Aircraft passing overhead in some scenes of the last few members of our society struggling to survive.

I'm not a huge ST fan but I did start Picard but only managed to get to ep 4 before bailing.
A guy walks into a bar and hears two women speaking in a British accent. He asks, "Are you ladies from England?" One says to him "No, it's Wales, you idiot!" So, then the guy says, "Okay, sorry. So, are you two whales from England?"

Bad Boys for Life (2020) https://www.imdb.com/title/tt1502397/ Unexciting, boring, unnecessary, empty, especially when Bad Boys 2 was 17 years ago. The Call of the Wild (2020) https://www.imdb.com/title/tt7504726/ The budget was $135 million? I know the dogs and other animals in the movie are CGI but no way it cost 135 million. Did it all go to Harrison Ford? The CGI was good but the movie was missing a soul, a heart, direction and purpose. The King (2019) https://www.imdb.com/title/tt7984766/ It was alright. Not bad. not great. Good for killing time.
