I did a mission the other day in Veterans series and the G2 just gave me a fit as far as the feel of being a feather with absolutely no real feel of mass/weight. Seemed a little bit more of a problem than normal. Does anyone else notice this?

Thanks....

I heard someone else describe exactly the same as you, I would not surprise me.

I find the throttle on the G-2 to be really twitchy at high altitudes. There seems to be almost no band between dropping the ATA ot below 0.6 or slamming up past 1.3.

S = k ln W

I noticed the same thing....It's like I've got to slam it full forward to get a response...

Non linear throttle response is not unusual in aircraft engines, both jet and piston, that being said it should not be a struggle to find the desired setting.

Yes, but the German Throttle in the 109 G-2 was the same like in the F-4. You had distinct positions for distinct manifold pressure/rpm positions. Only the last position the Emergency power was blocked, so you couldn't put the lever on that stage.
In BoS its comepletly wrong modeled. Actually the throttle ingame should have a deadzone above the 1.32 or 1.3 ata setting. That would be historically correct.
