It's hard to come up with a bad build for the Muromets - so many possibilities, but this one just rocks.

wpn group 1 - 2 MLAS
wpn group 2 - 1 PPC, 3 AC5
wpn group 6 - 3 AC5 chainfired

just plain fun.

The Muromets used to be one of my favorites but became a pain with the UAC5 jam lottery, would love to have an effective fun build with it.

I was never a fan of running UAC 5 on the Muro - with the low arm cannons one tends to get into close range to use them and they are just too unpredictable to be up close and personal like that. It works on a Dragon because of the better speed and manueverability and it works on the Jager because of the higher mounts that allow a longer-range engagement.

The interesting thing about my build above is that in a close range or high heat situation, switching to the group 6 chainfire cuts heat down while still putting out mass amounts of pain. The 3 AC5 chainfired shoot as fast as an AC2.

I've got a Jager I like that's very effective with 3 AC5's. No room for the ppc but I do have 4 ML's.
Doesn't have the blasting power the AC40 does, but very nice continuous fire. Keep off the ML's and you can fire almost indefinitely.

Ah might try your AC5 build on the Jager too, finally bought one a while back but found out I am terrible with the AC40 build and it's been parked ever since

Wow, I had a blast with that build, hit em with a pretty serious alpha and then go chainsaw mode. It does wreck stuff!
