I can start saving for the 18mill, I have it, but just. Let me know, I don't get a lot of time to to play, with my new son and work and all, but I'll gladly give what I can to SimHQ.

Richie makes 4 full lances. So we have a reinforced company of battle mechs.

I'll join and may get the 18 mil credit since I'm not buying any more mechs for a while.

Would never pilot a mech slower than 80kph
Work schedule is unreliable so may not be playing on scheduled matches much.

I've got ya covered on the slow mechs. I do better if I don't cross the 80kph threshold. LOL

Just started playing MWO this past week and if you'll have me, I'd like to join the SimHQ Crimson Guards.
I'm up to 14+ Million credit and hope to have it by the end of this coming week. Still trying to figure out
what type of mech I like best but doing the best in the Assault mechs.

Don't let holding those funds keep you from getting your garage started up. No telling when they'll even start up the merc units.

Thanks for the advice, Raw Kryptonite. I'll check out the Stalker and Jager mechs. I've already bought a few others I regret purchasing but they were part of a package deal. Maybe I'll use the good components on other mechs.

Thanks again for the info, Raw Kryptonite. smile2

Hey Ranger, join us on teamspeak to get some run. These are VERY helpful, easy going players. Tuesday, US primetime (generally 8 - 1 central) is a sure thing to find just about everyone. Other nights are hit and miss but usually somebody is on.

My best advice for you starting out is to figure out if you feel more comfortable at speed with less firepower (me) or if you prefer measured movement with a really big stick (RAW). From there we can give you good advice on the best mechs. (Soon you will learn what works best for you and you can tell us to shove it with any further advice we give you ;-) .

NOTE FOR NEWER PLAYERS: Spend your money on new mechs and equipment. If the setup remains the same we will probably set up a LOW TAX RATE, NO BUY-IN (except founders), DONATIONS WELCOME. I think I speak for everyone when I say, we are trying to build a community first and foremost.

I was hoping to setup a ponzi scheme so I can buy all the XL engines I want.

Hello, Feetwet. 8-1 Central shouldn't be a problem for me to get on Tuesday via Teamspeak. I'll probably be on
a few days during the week, especially Tuesdays. I'll need a password to join it as I understand.

I'd like to develop both a light mech and an assault mech, but leaning toward the assault mech right now- I die
less often! biggrin I've seen some weapons I'd like to have on my own mechs but am not sure the best mech to
equip them. I'd greatly appreciate any advice on the type of mechs to buy and what to put on them regarding my
developing style of play.

Looking forward to joining everyone on the Teamspeak MWO server. smile2
Thanks for your help and advice, too, Feetwet.

Nevermind on the password, I found it. Have a problem with my mic but I should be able to figure it out.

Well our local assault experts are probably Raw, Sinner, Brennus, and Kludger. I only run the atlas so I don't know the best assault builds. I run several different heavies so I can help there. For now avoid the jaeger. It is a great mech that I love to run but it is very fragile.

I know Raw and Brennus run stalkers and Kludger runs a variety of assaults. They should all be on tomorrow and should have good advice.

If you don't know it yet, this site is great for builds...

Make an account and you can save off builds in your mechbay til the cows come home.

Feetwet: you can put me down as a founder as well. I'll be able to grind back up to 18 mil for the merc ticket by the time this thing goes live.

Thanks again for the info, Feetwet. I intend to make the Tuesday night MWO get-togethers. I appreciated
all the advice given to me last night and am looking forward to many more matches with fellow SimHQ'ers.

With all the action that goes on in the game and myself still learning what I can, I'm trying to watch and
listen as I see you all play, especially when I'm in spectator-mode. Watched some great teamwork- fun to
see everyone working so well together.

My favorite assault is the Victor-9B, but it's an acquired taste due to it being very "right handed". Very fast, good firepower and jumpjets.

Hey Sinner, it reminds me of a bigger, tougher YLW. Since I am so comfortable with my wang (teehee), I have considered picking that mech as my next assault.

You can add me as a founder, I should have acquired the 12M required by the time it goes live.
