not yet, but it is apparently planned. You have the option though to create flights against opponents of your choice, you can setup terrain, height, situation, number of enemies etc. But you won't have an wingman and it will be A/A only.

This is actually kind of interesting as a way of releasing and sustaining interest in this sim.

Time was when describing released software as a "Work in Progress" was a derogatory term.

I suppose I feel interested and more "invested" (literally of course, but) in other ways in the development of this sim.

I'm very hopeful--hope against hope--that they continue to remain in touch with and interactive with the community/customers.

Dunno why, but it seems kind of cool and intriguing to find out about all the updates they're working on.

I saw elsewhere on their site that they had implemented 12 or so updates in roughly 20 days...

Anyway..good stuff.

I'm in the cheering section.

I would really like to know how they started. I read a few interviews but they were all alike the typical "interview with game designer" nonsense. In addition, there seemed to be a language barrier. I am wondering what their concept initially was: Porting a graphically enhanced IL2 "light" to the consoles, and finding out that it had potential for PC users ? Or do they just react to sales figures ? They seem not to have had any experience with flight sims, most if not all flight sim developers I heard of develop flight sims only.

It does seem odd. I wonder if they even comprehend the potential of the game engine. With some tweaks here and there they could take the FSX and combat market both.

I'm excited about this sim even with its shortcomings. Why, well simply put, the graphics are outstanding and they don't kill your machine. Therefore somebody knew how to write software. More than I can say for rise of flight.

I hope a mission builder is made, but we should all hype this game so it becomes more popular, and we can get more goodies.
