I've never played these. I missed the whole Nintendo game, late 80's until the early 90's gaming thing. I discovered wine women and song and that took up most of my time.

SF2 was a good time waster in High School and College when you've got roommates. I haven't played a SF game since 94 or 95 and boy do I stink at it now. I have a hard time beating arcade mode on easy.

I picked up the game a while back and I am not impressed with it. As far as SF2 goes it is a perfect example of the game. They even got the slow motion timing down where the old machines would stutter. You can go into the game's dip switches and remove it. I noticed that a lot of review magazines put that as a CON for the game. I wonder if they even looked at all the settings. If they had they would haven noticed that it is a feature that can be turned on and off.

I have nothing against SF2. It is a very good game but I am so used to playing SFA3 that I cant get into the groove with it. Personally I outgrew SF2 when Street Fighter Alpha 3 came out. I would pay full price if they would port that game over to XBLA.

There are some pretty well substantiated rumors that Marvel vs Capcom 2 will be coming to the Arcade and PSN store. I really hope so, I thought that was a fun game back when I worked at the arcade.

I was (and still am) a much bigger fan of Tekken than the SF series but MVC was a great diversion when I was bored of Tekken 3.

I downloaded it and played it. I still like SFA3 better.
