Interesting, incorrect, but interesting quote. Thanks.

The following picture of our MP server setup is the Squadron standard. Participating Pilots cannot change it.

We train - fly - refuel - fight with all settings set to the Ace mode...including...labels off.

Prove this to yourself by going to our website, link is at the bottom of this post, and find the Squadron MP standards where a comprehensive maintained list of training/flight/fight/MP 27th Squadron standards - including, labels off, are listed - OR - dont take my word, log on to the 27th forum to discuss with any 27th Pilot. We welcome useful and real differences between Pilots and learn and adjust accordingly. Just one reason we are good.

Better yet, sign up if you are sincerely interested and see for yourself.

We are a good F4AF Squadron looking for Pilots who want to learn F4AF in a sequential, through, and realistic as possible manner. We are also looking for experienced F4AF drivers to make our already good Squadron better and have fun and learn as much as we can about the Fighter Pilot Trade to put to use in our Squadron flights/Fights.
If this sounds good to you we are one Great option for you to consider.

Reason I ask is some of the shots in the screenshot galleries at your site, they show labels on..

As a new member I understand that you don't..but was curious as to why those showed labels

Speaking only for the pics I post...

...I turn on labels in the ACMI playback videos, I post stills of, because the other pilots sometimes enjoy and are encouraged by seeing their name/Viper flying/fighting - while viewing the Squadron still pics. I do that as a means to give pilots who view the still pics a sense of pride, camaderie, and, a strong identity with the squadron. And you know what? it works - from time to time.

Learning already from your 27th forum posts. Welcome to the Aggressors.

Roger That!

The 3 IST flights are 2 Ship (You fly wing, IP is lead) but most, not all the ACMR (Air Combat Mission Ready) Training/Evaluation flights are 4 Ship.

I will join as many of your, and any of our other 27th ACMR Fighter Pilots flights as I can - depending on the date/times availability etc. I will make good use as I want the review to improve/maintain my tactical capabilities.

Great feedback on F4AF and real F-16 technical aspects at the 27th forum. Keep it going.

Consider getting on the schedule for the June 2008 Monthly Squadron BFM Competetion/Proficeiency: June 27 at 0200Z.

See you at the briefing.

As a (hopefully) future ip in the 27th I have this to say about their training curriculem and structure..they are very thorough.

I've completed all IST requirements to date with acmr03 scheduled for this weekend..(hehe I get to blow sh*t up and show off my average skills and dropping dumb bombs..(j/k) Might put a little twist on Dejay's tail when we go to do gbu's though..Might have to lob em to take out the usual tedium for him \:D

Virtual Fighter Squadrom 27 Refuel video/tutorial.

It is a good refuel guide.

Enjoy.
