As mentioned in the previous thread on this topic, we plan to release the new DGen in various stages.

If you encounter problems, please post them here. This is NOT a wishlist, just a bug list. Part of the reason for a staged release is so we can get things right.

All the work is done by Vadim "Starshoy" Kolosov. I just work with him on some small things.

So you don't have to search through a long thread, I will periodically amend this post

PLANNED RELEASE:

STAGE 1 - No longer required since Stage 3 has now been released.

STAGE 2 - Updated Ostfront files to fly the Pe-2 in Kurland and Murmansk and the Pe-3 in Moscow and Murmansk. REQUIRES: FB 405m and OSTFRONT
STAGE 2 VERSION 4 - GET IT HERE

and

Get the updated Europlanes file here.

*** A-20C Added to Kurland ***

Please note:
1) This version does STILL not contain the final squadrons. I will get to that.
2) This add-on adds the Pe-2 to Murmansk and Kurland and a flyable Pe-3bis to Moscow and Murmansk. It also adds the A-20C to Kurland.
3) These campaigns may conflict with other add-ons. No whining.

STAGE 3 - New DGen.exe for 406m. Adds new planes and maps. REQUIRES: FB406m
STAGE THREE VERSION 4.0.6.11 - GET IT HERE

STAGE 4 - Full Burma campaign for RAF/IAF, USA and IJA. REQUIRES: FB406m
STAGE FOUR VERSION 1 - GET IT HERE

also requires the Burma Campaign skinpack:

BURMA CAMPAIGN SKINPACK - GET IT HERE

STAGE 5 - Manchuria Campaign. REQUIRES: 407m. We are not sure what form this will take at present or even if the 407m planes and maps will be added.

It's a good question.

In the RAR file is a DGen.exe that you place in the main FB folder. Do NOT place in the DGen folder.

Ian, does Ostfront already have pre-determined airfields for each of the flyable German types (similiar to my question in a related thread)? I ask this, because, even though I have an airfield near Libau populated with nothing but 109s, my player-flown Fw 190 flight will be generated from it. The UseParkedPlanes parameter is great, yes, but it seems that there are still a lot of bugs with it.

Both Kurland and Murmansk are UPP=1 by default (as with Burma and Singapore). I have never ever seen a problem.

Can you email me your MIS file please?

It's guaranteed for 405 and contains some 406 test code.

Ostfront files - soon.

As i'm not to familiar with adding planes to campaigns, could someone please tell me what i have to do to get the Pe-2 into my Dgen campaigns ( i have got 4.05 ). Other than that Ian will the new DGEN to follow add the Pe - 2 automatically, or will it have to be entered manually.

Ian, one other question, I am running 4.05m, with B.O.E and Ostfront, and i have also updated with the latest DGEN compilation file that you posted some months back, also i have Amagis D.O.F and Trupacific. The trouble i am getting (i think involves Ostfront and D.O.F conflicting) means i cant run a D.O.F stuka campaign and also the murmansk HE III campaign, i have sorted this by having 2 seperate DGEN folders and swapping them with jonesoft mod enabler, however this is becoming a bit cumbersome, ( like my question ! ), are you aware of any conflicts with the above mentioned, and if so any work around. thanks for any help.

Slipper, if you're not experienced with Dgen editing, wait till the w/e and I'll release the ostfront update with all necessary files included.
