Hello \:\)

I'm looking for Apache checklists, real-life procedures, combat tactics, communications (brevity code), perhaps a training syllabus... any info regarding real AH-64 operations; do you know where could I find some of those?

Thanks!

I have a pdf manual as well, can't remember exactly where I got it but it was a public internet site.

I haven't read it and I'm not sure a) if it's OK to redistribute it or b) to even possess it.
I DL'd it pre 9/11.

Not sure who to even ask about this, last thing I want is real black helicopters landing in my back yard! ;-)

I don't think it is a problem. The manual referenced above and some other AH-64 manuals I have are

a)old
b)do not have the classified sections included

If you rely on a manual to teach you how to perform combat missions, you're doing it wrong. Aviators are trained to think on the move.

Especially when you consider these manuals are usually written by REMFs.

Additionally.. many years ago I was asked to write a mission file for LB2 to simulate the CCOFT trainer that was used by the ANG ... copies of it are still floating around... and if you can find a copy of the Longbow2 Administrator I wrote... it will track ordnance usage, kills, users, and a slew of other data for export to file or webiste for live campaign data management and shared resources within a campaign or distributed mission.
