How did that happen? The more you hit it, the more you get your money's worth Played the first two rounds at Bay Hill. Made like five bogeys in the first round. Second round was better. Not an easy course, especially off the tee.

Absolutely not an easy course, but rewarding sometimes.

Like Wile E Coyote in the Road Runner cartoons? Finished the tournament. Like I said, it's a difficult course off the tee. Hazards and crooked landing areas led to one of my worst fairway percentages. Greens and scrambling weren't all that great either . Made seven bogeys over the four rounds which is a lot. Just one eagle and lipped out for an ace. Good luck!

Meep meep. Not that one. Congrats on your win DBond! 35 below par on that course is excellent. It is a hard course, but that makes it more interesting I think. I ended on 17 below par. Last round was pretty desent, but I made a mess of it in the earlier rounds. 3 days to the next tournament. Good luck with that. Strange that nobody else is participating. Angst for walking on the green stuff?

Yeah, I'd probably join just to have something to play with my fellow SimHQers even if I didn't like golf all that much.
Thanks for the congrats. Managed to hold it together enough to claim the top spot.
Good luck in the next one!

Played all four rounds of this week's tournament at Torrey Pines (South). Played OK, two eagles, and I think three bogeys. Not my best tournament, but a respectable total. Good luck!

Managed to get this one in just under the deadline yesterday, at TPC Louisianna. Played well enough and had your ghost along for the ride Wigean. Good golf, mate, as always.
I birdied the first hole every day, which gets you off to a positive start. Opened with a pair of 61s, and closed with a pair of 63s. Three eagles I think, and two bogeys including a dreaded three-putt. Oh the horror.
I've been talking us up over on Subsim of all places and hoping I can recruit one or two to join us.

Congratulations on your victory. I almost thought I would win this om WO. Good golf again from you. I struggle as always to do a round that I`m happy with. But that`s what brings me back to play it. Looking forward to the next tournament.

I may come out on top more often, but I am impressed with how good you are at this game. You are a worthy competitor and it makes it fun for me. Especially your long putting, which amazes me You make so many 40 footers it's crazy. You are also a little longer off the tee now on balance. Yeah, it's fun. there are quite a few regular readers of this thread, checking in on what we are up to. How about you guys jump in and join us? I'll gift the game to the first one to say yes.

Hehe, may be the putting is good because of my experience with crosswind, ground speed and crab angle.

I finished the tournament yesterday. Played pretty well overall. I like this course, a nice seaside dunes layout. We were tight through the first two rounds, and when I teed off to start round three I thought to myself, OK, I'm up two or three strokes, just don't make any big mistakes. I looked at the leader board and you were up by eight! I'm like holy sh!t, you must have eagled the entire front nine in the third round haha. So that really motivated me, and I shot 59 to your 57. Great round Wigean.
You had not played round four, so not sure if I'll finish on top. Looking forward to your result!

I was really happy with my third round. I`m not sure where that came from. I had a coffee while I played, and somehow I managed to be pretty precise with the hits. I have finished my last round. I really liked the course and kudos to you for making the conditions interesting.

Yeah, one round had strong wind, some rain mixed in and I had firm and soft conditions according to the weather. Glad you liked it. And noticed!
Who won?

Wigean -42 Dbond1 -41 I think I will do a screen dump of that result because it`s going to be hard to make a result like that again. We both did good with that result.

Thanks. Victory for a change. The last holes were a bit nervy because I was so close to beat you for once. I had to cansel the ghost on the last round so I wouldn`t see how well you played.
