Did you tell her to look between her legs ? But just because I would, doesn't mean everyone should.

My wife has never even seen the original SW trilogy at all.

I don't think mine has either. She was born in 1975, so she is too young to have experienced the craze of the first 3 films. Which are the only ones I like. I did watch some of the prequels with my son, when he was a young boy. But they did not have the same appeal imo.

I'm in full agreement with you there! Revenge of the Sith was a bit of an improvement over the previous 2 prequels but that same intangible "magic" from the original trilogy just wasn't there.

You should have her watch the despecialized editions.

I would had I not stupidly sold my pre-recorded VHS copies of the original trilogy back in the late 90's. I don't believe you can get those original versions on DVD/bluray.

There's a way to download them, sort of. It's a bit complicated:

Just google and buy the "despecialized" editions.

EDIT: I take that back, doesn't look like you can buy it anymore. Use the links Blastman sent to download it, or watch it on the internet archive: https://archive.org/details/star.-wars.-1977.-despecialized.-720p.x-264.-ac-3.5.1

Gives way and suddenly it’s day again
The sun is in the east
Even though the day is done
Two suns in the sunset, hmph
Could be the human race is run

Those are newer than the ones I bought. I bought my set around 1989. The VHS boxes had the CBS/Fox logo on the spine.
