I probably should post this in the P-51 section, but nobody except for Tom seems to be hanging around there, so I'll do it in the main section, since the subject deserves some publicity and this place seems to be visited much more often . For those of You, who can't, or don't want to visit ED forums, but are interested in DCS warbirds, please note there's a Packard Merlin sound mod being made by Jafa (yes, THE Jafa of the old Il-2 modding scene fame), which puts default and other custom soundsets to shame in my opinion. The man posted only two WIP short clips so far, and no release dates were given, but boy oh boy, I can't wait to try these sounds out in the game: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=awTmfwjCTa0https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Ngyhmv4Gznw

Wow, thanks for the heads up. Sounds fantastic.
DCS Kickstarter Wags July 2014 "In this July 2014 update, the primary news is in regards to the restructured backer rewards. After a careful review of the older system under RRG, we found it financially unattainable." Wags October 2017 "the investment vs. generated revenue has been excellent for the World War II aircraft. In fact, the P-51D Mustang has twice the cost effectiveness of the A-10C Warthog."

I haven't used JSGME with DCS yet. Where do I install? Into the DCS main file or into the P51D file? And which file is installed into the JSGME MODS folder?

Been waiting for Jafa to release this since he posted the demo. His work on il-2 was sublime so I have great hopes for this.
Thanks for the heads up Art.

On a sidenote - a beta version of Jafa's Spitfire soundpack has been released yesterday as well. https://www.digitalcombatsimulator.com/en/files/3081615/index.phpThe only bummer is, apparently you can activate and use Mustang and Spit mods separately only, because of the way sample-sharing between modules in DCS works.
