Anyone get this game? My 2 boys said they heard it was pretty decent so I picked it up last night. Need to set up my new system in our basement so I haven't tried it yet. W/our move I've been off xbox for a long time.

thanks for the hints Mag, I think I deciphered the typos enough to see what you're telling me. I've been using add blocker on Chrome and it's much better.
Thanks for the tips, yeah the site is really terrible to browse on mobile or tablet, I can't stand to visit SimHQ except when on PC with an adblocking browser.
Fun game so far, I picked it up on PC though in the hope to co-op with some of the SimHQ folks that I play MWO with.
Real good... sure the PC is the better performer, but next gen is nice too. Same exact gameplay from what I've read... just PC will always be better graphically.
Cool, if the gameplay holds up like Destiny and BF4 did for me, I'll probably eventually pick it up on XB1 too so I can play it on the couch and with you guys on XB1, like I did BF4 and Destiny which I have on multiple platforms.

I hear ya! I hate posting from my tablet, the damNED ad keeps coming up while I'm trying to see what I'm typing.
Good tips too. I've sold most of my stuff, but probably find equipment in loot anyway faster than I could buy it, so I'll try breaking down more often. Graphically, I see a lot of pop-in, but it's not bad. Still holding at about 45 fps. I doubt it looks any better than console on my rig, but as long as it runs smooth I'm pretty happy.
So, what you guys are saying is that it is not a waste of money for singleplayer gaming. Because I have zero to little interest in the online portion of it.

I can say I'm enjoying it, and I've only spent an hour online. Got to do some co-op with Kludger earlier and it was a lot of fun. For SP, the only thing that might concern me is that the game shows me 25% of the way finished with the campaign storyline, so I assume that means it's pretty short. I've concentrated on unlocking the main base, so I assume that's why I'm that far along already. I expect that to slow down as I stay busy with more side missions. Like most RPG games, that 25% doesn't take into account the side missions (there are TONS of them) and the random fights and called in missions that come up during gameplay. I'd say that if you're the type that blazes through and RPG concentrating on just the main story, doesn't care for side missions, doesn't plan to do MP or co-op, prefers to fast travel instead of going it on foot, then it's probably too short. If you like taking your time and fleshing it all out, it's probably worth it.
Family was out of town for the weekend so I put in a decent amount of time on this. Co-op is where this game shines. I have ben playing with groups all weekend, including a few hours with magnum in our group and the missions are not only easier, but so much more fun working together. During the week I managed a few solo sessions and the amount of missions I completed vs the amount I got done with good help (all friends, all on voip) was amazing. Also, now that I am level 20 I have only gotten one pink blueprint and no pink drops, but the advanced weapons vendor is selling them, so I started selling some of my blues and greens to get enough o upgrade my weapons. Supposedly they are easy to come by in the DZ but our one foray into there resulted in a split group (I was ranked higher and kept getting sent into the DZ solo while the other 3 in my group were together and kicking a** extracting stuff. I was getting raped by groups of 3-4 every spawn). Overall a fun experience, but like Borderlands its way better with others. This review brought to you by beer, tequila, and family trips.

anyone around this weekend at night for some MP? My GF is going away so I'll have lots of free time to play and would love to try MP.
Added you to my friends list the other day. Not sure what my schedule is like this weekend but my goal is to try to get on some.
Also, I think this is one of the first times I have ever stopped and listened in on two NPCs having a conversation that wasn't required to progression in a game.

You know the one thing I really, like is being a PC user, playing right alone side the console users. That in itself amazes me. I don't think it gets mentioned enough.

I'm on pc, just saw this thread and got into it. Same game though. We had a group last night but got dropped. Can't complain too much, it's the first time that's happened. For a Ubisoft title, this game has had a remarkably smooth launch.
