Great review! Entertaining, yet informative. Objective, yet constructive. Balanced, yet clearly written with passion.

Too many commas, however.

Can we have German, Italian and Turkish language versions please?

Well done Heinkill. I really enjoyed your flow and use of missions to display the features of the new patch. It's like I was right there in the cockpit discovering them myself.

What is the Actual Name of the Server that has the "dynamic persistent-battlefield moving-front line wars."
that is mentioned in the article ?
I really want to get to this But I have no idea how, couldnt find anything on the TF forums or even with a Google search.

And Once again Great Article , i have been passing it along to everyone I know.

The no.401 Squadron server has a "Dynamic Battlefield" too - not complex as HRCODWAR (with "romantic" Tiger Moth resupply flights) with "Robert Redford":) smile

Is some sort or 'COOP' with the difference that players dont know previously the direction of the enemy, have to ask the radar. wink

I enjoyed the write up but this statement in the article could be very misleading about the action in the dynamic campaign.

"Sounds great, doesn’t work so well (yet) because you find yourself spending a lot of time searching the very large Cliffs of Dover map for the elusive enemy, and only rarely bumping into them."

The quote might be true if using the default max aircraft amounts, but those are very low numbers. I've only flown the campaign with minimum of 50 aircraft, and a maximum of a hundred aircraft and had absolutely no problems finding combat. Others have used the vector to enemy command to find the enemy.

I really did think that BOS was the Bees-Knees when it first came out. Now I'm scared that they are starting to ignore players who make suggestions to make it a better sim. COD on the other hand seems wide open to anyone who might know something about this thing or that. BOS is still a wonderful sim and I like it very much but if Team Fusion keep this fantastic work up and add the new Mediterranean theater I think BOS may be in a little trouble

Accountants and Reality are cruel mistresses in combat sim development. The BOS development has tightened its belt with hopes that a good influx of cash with the sims initial release will clear a path for further improvements to BOS and a new theater. Both BOS and COD have their good points, but I do agree the COD game engine still has legs, especially in regards objects/player counts/FMB. I understand that COD cost IC alot in monies and patience, but still think IC missed the boat by jumping ship. They would have had Battle of Britain, Battle of Moscow/Stalingrad, already, with the third theater in development. I would have preferred that BOS found its development monies elsewhere, but beggars can't be choosers. smile
