I unearthed my long forgotten Saitek X36F. I am trying to find the programming software for it that will work with Windows 7 64bit.
Saitek's site only goes as far as Win2K and makes no mention of other operating systems.
Will the old software work?

Thanks!

Just tried it. Unfortunately it wouldn't detect my X36F when trying to start the SST, despite Windows detecting it fine.
It may just be time for a new stick smile

Did anyone ever come out with a solution to program the X36 on Win7 64bit?

Cause it's a real shame Windows detects it and SST don't work... screwy

What sims / games do you want to use it with?

AutoHotKey will only recognize one POV hat switch. I don't know about XPadder...

JoyToKey.

Recognize up to 16 devices
Recognize more than one HAT per device
8 axis per device
Up to 32 buttons (Windows limitation)per device

Notice - It was not done considering joystick but gamepads, but work fine with first an is easy to configure/use.
Allow change assignments in game - if game support Alt+Tab.
