I ordered what I thought was Gold when I ordered my new PC, but it turns out I ordered the "Acceleration Expansion" pack, which needs the base FSX.

I don't even care about the Acell ad-ons, never used them, but I do want SP 1 and 2, of course.

Help!?

the Games For Windows Marketplace has the FSX Gold version download for $29.99.

it does require that you install the Games For Windows Client.

Thanks for the link. Unfortunately, it won't accept my credit card, my credit card which is 100% OK for everywhere else in the known Universe. And when I get "support" on the phone, they don't speak English very well (and, unfortunately, that is all I speak).

Oh well, at least this way I won't waste any money on "Flight" DLC since they won't take my money.

Yes, I just went ahead and ordered a physical version from Amazon. I'm "jonesen" for FSX!

With the Accell version you do not need sp1 or sp2. That is one advantage. You also get extra aircraft and missions.Better frame rates too. Check with Flight one for FSX Deluxe d/l .
