Why a dev would include the line "delete boot ini" regardless of a typo is beyond me. Worst patch gaff I've heard of in awhile.

S!

I have stopped flying flight sims online pretty much, except Aces High now and then. I found EVE and have never looked back. No more whines (with cheese) of DM, FM or whatever. Just plain carnage or lull mission running..up to you!

The new patch Trinity, I had no problems whatsoever with it. Boot.ini was still there after patching. Maybe because I was not there tapping download before 4am? I waited well after first post-patch downtime. Download and installation was just a few clicks and go.

As of the new graphics. Those that do fleet battles do use Classic because of the slight lag increase the new DX9 gives. Sure it looks nice though! After they get the few bugs squashed that people have noticed then all is fine again. See you in space!

Don't get me wrong ... GREAT GAME, Great concept, and the eye-candy is amazing. It's the people who play it that bug me. There's talk of comradery but it's false.

.

There is quite a bit of camaraderie in the corps I have been in. Just as much as in the other games I have played.

With regards to the patch, the boot.ini removal does not seem to occur with the Full-Download of the Premium content. It seems to only happen with the "Upgrade from Classic to Premium".

Trinity still needs some bugs ironed out, but I am very impressed with it so far.
