The designer did s good job of adding detail to the files so I'll go pretty much as designed. In the picture below the only main difference I plan is to add stanchions and cables around the deck edges as hand rails

Sorry, I'm terrible at the detailed build posts. Haven't done a lot anyway, got all the hull sections glued together, puttied the seams, sanded and the sprayed with filler primer. Touching up some now. More sanding to come, more filler primer and then hopefully a final finish sanding before final topcoat paint. Meanwhile I have printed more parts... such as life rafts.

I was using body filler putty to fill the seams between sections right from the tube, smeared on with my finger. It worked fine but then I had to wait hours for it to harden before sanding. I'm now trying a different technique, cutting the putty 50/50 with acetone and brushing on thin layers. It dries in minutes ready for another layer. You can also spot the low/high spots easily with this method and after several layers you still have less overall buildup so less sanding. You can do several seams one after another and when you get to the last the first is ready for another go already.
