hey guys,

I know there might be some starwars fans here and some might have even played the XWing Alliance game but this is really neat. a VR Mod for XWing Alliance and the tie fighter series a total conversion. if you are interested here is the link that should have all the info needed but if you can not find your disk it is reccomended to get the GOG.com version Steam has issues with the mod and trust me just get the GOG version..

This sounds awesome. Have you tried it? How is it?

Well the cutscenes and main menu where you pick the missions room look dated but only so much you can do and it is just a big screen in 2D inside the headset and if you dont get the placement right it will be off center and in game in VR there is no VR Recenter button that most VR games have.. the best thing is when it all aligns and you actually get to sit inside the tie fighter what a treat, it looks more like a modernish think somewhat like Squadrons but not as new.. but it's very cool.

You have to make a Profile with your HOTAS within their setup, I tried making a TARGET Profile but it does not work. so you are limited with the button presses but you with a HOTAS can get near most of what will be needed for most missions.. but if you look past the warts the flying the missions in VR is the bread and butter of it..
