The rusty wire that holds the cork that keeps the anger in Gives way and suddenly it’s day again The sun is in the east Even though the day is done Two suns in the sunset, hmph Could be the human race is run
No movie tonight, just margaritas and no-salt chips with homemade salsa while enjoying fond memories of seeing these guys in the early '90s, Omni Atlanta.

Does Ringo look younger than in the late Beatles years?!?!
Stumbled over this when I was looking for the live bass player in some Phil Collins concert. As it happens, he's Leland Sklar one of the most recorded bass players ever. - live and studio musician, he's on >800 albums and ~3000 tracks..When the "Selected Albums" list is split by alphabet for the stars, then you know he has done some serious work... In the pandemic he posted almost daily a video telling some stories and playing along a track.

Was looking for songs I might put into the 25 greatest... thread, and thought also of this one, but then I concluded "yeah, maybe not greatest song ever material", but I like it none-the-less.
A song that 99.9% here will not have heard yet - because it's French. I am not at all into French music - au contraire, usually don't really like it, but when I heard this one on a German radio station, it captured me right away Est-ce que tu m'aime? - Maître Gims
I recall purchasing only 2 45's in my life, both in a music store at a mall. The first was Styx's "Why Me" opposite "Lights" ("Cornerstone" 1979). The second was Van Halen's "Jump" opposite "House of Pain" ("1984" 1984), which I'd never heard before.
Van Halen's 1984 ============
Side A ---------- 1984 (instrumental) Jump Panama Top Jimmy Drop Dead Legs
Side B ---------- Hot for Teacher I'll Wait Girl Gone Bad House of Pain
What a freaking monster album! Last two songs are my least favorite on the album, with "House of Pain" at the bottom.
When you feel that this is the worst song on an album, it's probably a pretty darn good album.
