I agree with Lou, busdriver. I've had the same experience. Although I've been told time and again the AI doesn't target the player, my experience has been they have. To a ridiculous degree. For instance, several times I've had an enemy fighter approach me as I flew with five other planes, and the enemy ignored all the others--even flying past all five to get to my side of the formation--to attack me. Or a plane will spiral down from above and single me out of all the other planes. I've never seen them spiral down and attack someone ELSE flying with me. Adding to this, the planes flying with me don't do anything to assist me fighting three other planes that have come after me instead of anyone else, for example.

Others have had different experiences than I, however. Frankly, though, I've grown tired of fighting the entire enemy air force single-handedly!
