Raiders of the Lost Ark IS a fun movie, I still enjoy watching it more than 30 years after seeing it for the first time in the theater.

I'd have to say:

- Ben-Hur (1959 version)
- Master & Commander
- The Wind and the Lion
- Serenity
- Pulp Fiction
- The Agony and the Ecstasy
- A Bridge Too Far
- Lawrence of Arabia
- Farewell to the King - REALLY liked Nick Nolte in this one
- The Lion in Winter (1968 version, although the 2003 version was very good. Still, O'Toole/Hepburn > Stewart/Close)
- Becket
- We Were Soldiers
- Bindlestiffs - I laugh harder every time I see this movie!
- I Hope They Serve Beer in Hell - ditto!
- Breaker Morant

I've got to many too list, and many for different reasons... but the movie of the year, so far for me, has been End of Watch, that has been the most accurate showing of how cops generally are. I could even put real officer's names with each character shown in the movie. And yes, I teared at the end... it is called "End of Watch" you know, so that's no spoiler. wink

In all my years I've never seen the like. It has to be more than a hundred sea miles and he brings us up on his tail. That's seamanship, Mr. Pullings. My God, that's seamanship!

A few of my favorites that I will watch through to the end every time I run across them no matter what part of the movie it is smile

American Graffiti - "Jeez, what a waste of machinery"

Animal House - "Otis! My Man!"

Blues Brothers - "Oh, we got both kinds, Country AND Western!"
