I have had exactly the opposite thought... I am very glad they didn't pollute this sim by adding the Mack brand.

Not many Macks in Europe. But if this is successful maybe people could petition for a US version. And add gameplay elements like a tailgunner when going to Detroit

i unpacked it and found alot of changes, BUT i cant seem to find a read me anywhere, i know it changes the default gas sations, adds about 30 new towns including africa.

Any german speaking gents out there that could help me out? dont want to add any mods comflicting with this...

Only down side is it states you should start a new game :/

I'm using a Logitech G25 wheel/pedal combo, plus Trackir. Pretty sweet.

Have they added Ireland to Route yet, or does anyone know if there are any plans to add it?

The upcoming DLC will focus on Central Europe, Poland mostly. Perhaps not surprisingly, the "Polish fan community is one of the most active" (developers own words)
