BTW, I did some research and noticed some hitherto hidden facts about the Fokker Dr.I:
Length: 6 meters.
Height: 3 meters (that's six divided by two!)
Wings: 6!

You see it? Yes, that's right: 6+(3*2)+6, i.e. 666, i.e. the Number of the Beast!!!

I believe that the Fokker Dr.I is a manifestation of Satan himself.

- Now it become clear why the developers included that plane in the sim, even though we all know that the Dr.I only flew in very few numbers in WWI.

And talking about the developers... 777 Studios... I mean, how evident is that!? 666+111!!!!!

I'm liable to agree regarding the Dr.1...

As was said there, it does exist on Amiens Cathedral so it's a feather in the cap of the developers that they model so accurately. You have a problem with it, take it up with that church, not ROF. If you are looking for a religious dispute, then this forum is not the place to be. This is a forum that discusses ROF and not religious viewpoints.
I'm just a little suspicious that this might be trolling.

@ Suppards, read the rest of the thread before calling somebody a troll.
I was a little surprised with the first screenshot, thinking it was a bad joke as well. But yes indeed, life is stranger than fiction...

I'm more upset Padre is still using gages... WinkNGrin

Bearing in mind that Padre raised this issue on ROF forum and received a clear explanation there, I repeat that I can see no valid reason for his raising yet again here. One strength of this forum is the friendly helpful nature of it. Let's keep it this way. Padre has received an explanation and that should end the matter with this thread being locked.

No, I've lurked this forum for years, usually not logged in, just looking for information.

@Bandy: The Gages...yes...you're right, but as you know it's hard to rollerskate in a buffalo herd, and if I could figure out how to zoom in on my flight map, while in flight, so I could do some land navigation while flying the crates without the compass (N.11), I'd turn them off. I'm open to correction on that issue as well.

I only mentioned it once, and directed to the real conversation via link , over to the RoF forums. If I knew how to lock it here I would, but I don't, and I'm not inclined to sort it out since I probably won't post here for another 10 years.

The OP could have saved himself a lot of embarrassment by Googling a bit before he posted (on two forums).

Cathedral Window Pentagram France would have discovered Amiens Cathedral on the first hit. Try it yep

Uhh, yeah...

Wasn't sure myself, on that one, whether I'd piss myself laughing or throw up first...

And why are all these people so concerned here about others posting/begging to lock this thread? If it bothers you...don't look. Are you just that in need of being in control of what everyone else does?

(Now, help me out here: Which part is of the 'strength of this forum' is this desperate need to squelch a discussion - the 'friendly' part, or the 'helpful' part? Just wondering.)
