It's on my watch list Trooper, looks good. Based on a book I see.

Can't be too many games based on books can there? The only ones coming to mind are Flight of the Intruder and Megafortress. If I remember correctly, the Flight of The Intruder novel came with the game but it's been a while, late 80's?

EV's are the Devils matchbox.

There's lots of games based off books.
There was a Starship Troopers RTS in the late 90s (maybe early 2000s) that followed the books more than the movie.
Stalker was originally based off a short story.
Metro 2033 was based off a book series
The Witcher games were continuations of a book series.
SpecOps: The Line was basically Heart of Darkness in a different setting.
The original Rainbow Six was based off the book.
Red Storm Rising
The Hunt for Red October

and those are just off the top of my head.

These United States of America
I posted a link to this awhile back, maybe the wrong forum but I was interested as soon as I saw it. I know nothing about the book but I'm always interested in a space narrative game. I also recently learned that low and behold, "Routine" is still in the works if anyone remembers that. I remember voting for it in Steam Greenlight and its hard to believe it was revealed I think even before Alien Isolation released in 2014. And the new trailer for it looks quite a bit different from the original and CREEPY. Its supposed to have an aesthetic from the 1980s too set on a moon base and you play a cosmonaut I believe.
