Whats with the Wiener? It always seems to confuse people over here in North America. People keep thinking Wiener Schnitzel has something to do with German sausage. NOT SO! Can anyone explain why we keep using the term Wiener Schnitzel? I don't care what type of meat you use ... just give me a schnitzel! ... Danke in advance.

A real Wiener Schnitzel is made with veal. It means "Viennese Schnitzel" in German. There is an important distinction between a "normal" Schnitzel (-> pork), often advertised as "Wiener Art" (->Viennese Style) and a real "Wiener Schnitzel" -> veal.

I've always had it made with veal, so it's always been Wiener Schnitzel.
That said, I don't think I've had it in over 20 years.

I prefer the look of Linebacker's Schnitzel (beer in the back ground as well), Panzer's looks like some one has dropped their fishing bait by a piece of lime.
For the record though, I've had pork schnitzel and it was good.
That Farrow bloke you executed today, are you sure he's dead? Well I chopped his head off, that usually does the trick. Yes, don't get clever with me Baldrick. I just thought you might have lopped off a leg or something by mistake. No, the thing I chopped off had a nose.

I used to get Puten-schnitzel. I have no idea about the spelling, but it was turkey. At least thats what my parents told me. Someone was posting schnitzel on Facebook a few days ago and now I want to make some.

Para_Bellum, another important distinction when it comes to Schnitzel is . . . if it's made somewhere in Germany or Austria. I've had some good ones in the USA, but nothing compares to sitting in a Gaststtte and waiting for a Schnitzel while drinking bier. Maybe raise my glass to the folks sitting at the Stammtisch while I put a few Mark . . . sorry, Euro in the juke box and select the latest popular music. Prost!
The issue is not p*ssy. The issue is monkey.

An old pic, but I still make them the same: Indeed, wife put the pork chops on today's shopping list!

If you are ever in central Texas make sure and go through Mason. There is a cafe there call The Square Plate. They make a schnitzel with spaetzle that is delicious. My wife spent a good part of her life in Germany and her mother moved here from Germany and they both say it's nearly as good as what you can get there.
Dart, wish you were closer. I'd drop by for supper! That looks awesome!
