the tank side of Il2:BoS still has a long way to go.. but one of the cool things is sometimes the terrain use and engagement range.

Tried some long-range shots with the T-72. Range was roughly 3700m. Used HE-round as AFPDS or HEAT have a CEP the size of a barn at that range.

I could never master the T-72 fire control beyond 2000 meters.
But I remember when I ran Soviet VU some of the guys were pretty darn good, one guy was so good he could hit a moving target and long range most preferred a short halt before engaging though

If your new to SB and fancy a challenge try a 1 V 1 duel in the T-62 beyond 2000 meters with a human opponent.

Thought of doing the clip with a T-62 first. But the gun is moving to the Load-position after each shot, makes it nearly impossible to Observe the impact point in single player...

Indeed, if your using magnification its impossible to view the fall of shot,
there's a couple of work rounds if you want to make another video
(1) Use another player in the commander position he can range you
What I used to do magnify the target fire the round then switch to none magnified view as quickly as possible
Depending on the range you mite just see the round fall.

I cant explain it but i love commanding the T-62 in SB
Some of the most intense battles I had in MP were in the T-62 v AS1
If you had to cross open flat ground with out smoke for cover.
Life expectancy was very short. LoL
