I have to say I can't praise the guys at Good Old Games enough.

Not only do they provide a vast selection of awesome classic games (as well as some recent releases), often improved to run on modern systems, they do so at very fair prices and without any DRM.

Now I just got an email regarding the pre-order of The Witcher 3.

Because I already own both TW 1&2 they offer me a 27% discount of TW 3. And since that price is still higher than the US price I'm getting another ~ 3€ store credit. And free access to a number (16!) of planned DLCs, ranging from minor grafics goodies to new quests.

Oh, and they also gift me Neverwinter Nights. With all 3 major expansions. As well as Witcher digital comic book. And the extended soundtrack for download. And the papercrafts. And the digital art book with 200 pages. And an interactive digital comic.

Sorry to sound like someone from the marketing department, but I seriously believe GoG.com is awesome.

cheers

It's difficult to fault that Para.If only they had a wider range of more up-to-date stuff.

I'm a GOG fan myself.

We need...

+ Fleet Defender Gold, with all the CD media stuff.

+ Tornado, with copy of the FULL (not abbreviated) manual.

+ 1942 Pacific Air War, with sound that works.

+ The old Star Trek game with optional digitized speech.

+ Stunt Driver

+ Links 386 Pro with all available courses.

Gives way and suddenly it’s day again
The sun is in the east
Even though the day is done
Two suns in the sunset, hmph
Could be the human race is run

Good to hear the positive experiences. I've liked them too, they put out games you just can't get hold of, or get to run. It's a good idea and I'm glad they're succeeding. The better they do, the more big favorite old titles we'll get access to again.

Not GOG, but Steam has put out Fleet Defender Gold recently @ £4.99, I got it in the last sale as my original one I could not get to run at all.
