How did you get into alpha? I have my beta code from amazon as i preordered it from them but that starts in July. Glad to hear its good.

You could go to Greatnessawaits.com/Destiny and sign up. Think everyone who did got in. It ends Sunday. Then the Beta starts next month.

Looks fantastic though, finally a game to use the PS4's power? Good gameplay too?

Can't say about the power. Game is beautiful however and it's almost like an MMO. You got the capital on the moon I believe, where it goes into third person. Here you can pick up mail, get assignments, buy, sell, equip your ship etc.
Then you can drop down to your missions with friends or alone. The world, even when 'playing alone' still has other players around minding their own business.
Got a full character customization part, got loot and an inventory / character equip screen.
All wrapped into a game that feels like a single-player FPS. It's really, really good.

Looks great but I wish devs would stop making guns so damn big, covering up half the screen. I can't remember the last time I contorted and held a rifle to my eyeball to block that much of my field of view.

Looks cool. I may pick this up. Only owning ps3/4 and nintendo consoles made me miss out on halo so I need my Bungie fix.
I could see this being fun to play with friends.
