I've been playing since I bought it and I have to say I love it..more so than any other sim I've played and I've played a fair few over the years. Two words come to kind when I'm flying..immersion and scale..it's epic compared to other sims.
No longer will people need to refer to Red Baron as the ultimate immersive sim..this beats it hands down.
I'm sure everyone here agrees with my sentiment and no one is at all disappointed with the end product.
Again thanks you for making my hobby so much more the richer.
Looking forward to the skin pack and any future expansions.
You've surpassed yourselves..again.
Thanks and hope you all have a very happy Christmas and New Year and any profits go to make yours and your families Christmas all the better.

THANKS??? THANKS??? THANKS to you evil programmers I had to order a new computer thing to run WOFF. One Megabyte of memory on a 7 (seven) year old HP laptop equals one frame per fortnight. Till it smokes. I am now waiting a new desktop (26 December delivery date ) with a weird alien face on it called a X51. 16 Gb Ram, 2 Gb video Nvidia card, etc etc. The missus is a bit put out, it seems-most of the youtube reviews for this device are prepubescent. Seems deuced silly to her for a nearly 58 year old to be looking out the window every day for a UPS truck. Notwithstanding the $1500 US on the plastic. No sense of aviation history, that one.

I'll add my thanks and kudos to Wodin's well-spoken post. The sim is amazing. As said above, the immersion is awesome. You really feel that there is world, and a war, and real pilots.
The sim is constantly surprising, as was life in the real war. In just a few days, I have had to fight headwinds to make it home, seen wingmates fall out of formation with engine troubles, had my engine blown out by a direct flak hit and had to land with it clanking and clattering, seen damaged planes skid across the ground and wreck nose-up ... I could go on and on.
Although WOFF is much harder (i.e. realistic) than OFF, I am actually surviving longer because I am flying like a real pilot ... taking less chances, protecting my precious wingmen etc. That is a tribute to the immersion of WOFF.
Its an awesome piece of work.

Man y'all are tearing me up! I broke down and bought my wife a real mini-van and now I'm trying to be good so I can pay it off in a couple of years. All I'm getting for Christmas is some socks and underwear. On the bright side is that she agreed to go on a cash budget. If she doesn't have the cash on hand she doesn't buy it. Maybe once I finish paying off her dental crown I can buy it. Two more months for that... *sigh*
The road less traveled is filled with fewer needy people.

Agreed with every thing that has been said about WOFF, and the customer service is excellent, always a quick reponse to any problems or questions.

Goes without saying for me..WOFF is spectacular!. And thanks to all involved.
I will admit I was getting (along with many others) a bit "disgruntled" waiting for the release of WOFF. But the four year wait was certainly worth waiting for! As I posted somewhere early on,,just the AI revision alone is worth the "price of admission".
And I like the marketing plan of releasing addons etc. afterward. Keeps the excitement and interest up from the consumer side, IMO
