I refused to play NukeTown on the first Black Ops. That map was everything I didn't like about COD concentrated into one stinking pile. ![biggrin biggrin](/forum/images/graemlins/default/biggrin.gif) Nice shots though.
I refuse to buy a flight sim that I have no interest in playing, on the off chance that MAYBE someday they'll make the one I really want to play.

I have this map... still haven't had it come up in my rotation yet. Although I still feel like I haven't played too much.

Hijacked (The boat) is the new Nuketown. I haven't entered my key yet for this map, it was fun for a while but like the boat I'm already tired of these small maps...

I didn't pre-order (or even buy it, for that matter) so I haven't had a chance to play the new Nuketown. I actually enjoyed it in Black Ops 1 (in Combat Training). It's ridiculously small but it was fun.
However, I rented BlOps 2 over the weekend and I must say this: This is the worst collection of maps ever released. I thought they all sucked. Not a single map in the collection (and, yes, I tried them all) was better than the maps from the original BlOps game. I had the game for Saturday and Sunday and by early evening on Sunday I was bored with the game and returned it to Red Box. I liked what they did in some areas (adding different modes for Combat Training and the Perks and Weapon loadouts) but the level design was completely and utterly underwhelming.
My favorites from Black Ops 1 were Firing Range, WMD, Grid, Array, Havana, Jungle and Nuketown and, IMHO, none of the maps in the new game are as good as any of those.
There are really no decent size maps. They all seem pretty small.
Oh well, now I'm completely back on the fence about buying this one again. I went from "not buying", to "buying" and now I'm back to "might not be buying".
And don't even get me started on the Zombies. That mode has run its course.
Next week is Far Cry 3 and BF3 DLC (Aftermath). I think I can do without BlOps 2 for awhile longer. I may buy it if I have some leftover Christmas cash.

Magnum, you and I will have to agree to disagree on this one. I actually think the LA map (Aftermath, I think it's called) was my least favorite of the bunch. LOL.
For some reason, the one with the downed plane in the mountains (Turbine) isn't available for Combat Training so I wasn't able to try that one, but that one looks decent from the vids I've seen. But, I played all the others and really didn't fall in love with any of them.
I will backpedal a little though. There were a couple I didn't hate. They were: Overflow (in the streets of Pakistan) Yemen Standoff (same basic "S-shaped" layout as the old Brest map from the original Medal of Honor).
But, too many of the others felt like cookie cutters from previous versions of the game.

I agree to disagree, lol... I don't know what it is, but I think this is the best CoD game so far, (besides the orginal of course), I can't put my finger on it... but lets put it this way... In the 10 days since BO2 release, I've played 28 hours, compared to MW2, a whole year and only 15 hours, lol... of course thats nothing compared to BF3.... lol ![](http://simhq.com/forum/files/usergals/2012/11/full-1799-46070-img_0200.png) ![](http://simhq.com/forum/files/usergals/2012/11/full-1799-46071-img_0201.png) ![](http://simhq.com/forum/files/usergals/2012/11/full-1799-46072-img_0202.png) ![wink wink](/forum/images/graemlins/default/wink!.gif)
