Great Shots,
What Rig and Settings configuration are you running? I am running SuperSampling with 2X AF with all view distances up all the way, I get about 40FPS on my system but it doesn't look like the shots you took. Have you done some editing of the shots post flight?
Once again nice shots!

Thanks for the nice comments, No editing, just resized them a little smaller to keep the size down. I figured the best way is to just post a shot of my settings. My system is a Core I7 860 (overclocked). 4gigs ram and a single 460 GTX (also overclocked). I dont use super sampling in ROF, but I do use the nVidia Inspector, 2X Sparse Grid Super Sample option, per Jasons advice in the Graphics primer. Rob

Off hand, I dont remember what those settings are. Im at work now, so when I get home later tonight, Ill check them and post them for you. Rob Great screens, Scoob! Could you add some details to your nVidida Inspector's settings please in the following lines:
- Antialiasing - Behavior flags : None (?) - Antialiasing - Gamma correction : Off (?) - Antialiasing - Mode : Enhance the application setting (?) - Antialiasing - Setting : Application-controlled / Off (?) - Antialiasing - Transparency Multisampling : Enabled (?) - Antialisaing - Transparency Supersampling : 2x Sparse Grid Supersampling
Also, do you have anything engaged in the Texture Fltering Section of Inspector?
Thanks, Dirk.

Rob I think the downscaling made the difference on looking at the screenshots I took, they are pretty damn beautiful :-) I'm going to try the super sampling method you used and see if there is a major difference. Need to get round to actually flying this sim now, Warthog keeping me busy :-) but this looks so damn fine.

What is Super Sampling? What does it do? Why would I want to turn it on? Thanks.

Rob In essence the scene gets rendered multiple times and overlaid on itself before it is displayed. This increases graphical quality significantly but its is very intensive on the hardware, top range GFX and CPU are recommeneded for decent frame rates.

OK, here is a screen shot of my Inspector settings. Not much was changed. Also I posted some more shots in this thread here.. http://simhq.com/forum/ubbthreads.php/topics/3315372/Some_More_Rise_of_Flight_Rando.html#Post3315372
