Hello all,
recently my falcon AF has been crashing like crazy, in both single player and multiplayer.
I've reviewed the crash log and can see that it has something to do with ntdll.dll, but I know
nothing more regarding that particular file. I've tried to fix this by formatting/reinstalling
windows and falcon multiple times, still no luck. I have also googled this and searched many
forums but I can't seem to find anything that works.

Here are my specs:
Windows XP + SP3
Intel Q6600 @ 2.40GHz
2.00GB RAM
GTX 260 GPU

Falcon specs:
Falcon Allied Force 1.0.13
Hitiles
Skunkworks
Aeyes f16 pit

I'd run memtest86+ ( http://www.memtest.org/ ), just to rule out bad ram

Is it crashing on every flight?

For starters I would remove the addons. Fly vanilla AF with 1.0.13 installed to see if it crashes. Yes, issue is probably computer related e.g. drivers. No, add one more addon, retest and repeat until you find what is causing the crash.

Report back when you find something with the test.

It doesn't crash every flight, I'd say around 75% of all flights would CTD with that same error.
I've successfully undergone a memtest, so memory looks ok. As far as plain AF is concerned, I've
tried that too, and even plain Falcon AF 1.013 has been crashing, so I've ruled out additional
theatres/addins as the problem.

check to see you accidentally turned on T&L HAL on in the video and AA, if so turn those off. And display driver only don't put Primary gtx260 on.

I also see a EAX issue have you changed your sound setting recently?

You should be looking at heat as a possible issue as well. Blow out your case, make sure all fans functioning correctly. Check temps on board, cpu, gpu, ect ....

Long shot...but why not.
Fly falcon in safemode without connecting to others (networking not enabled). Give it several long flight tests in SP. If you see no problems then go back to normal mode and fly MP. IF you crash then something 'net related is causing a CTD.

Basically a one-in-a-million issue....But I've seen it once before.

Hey guys, thanks for all your help. I disabled T&L HAL and I haven't crashed since.
So apparently I formatted for nothing (twice), but I'm just glad I'm able to fly again.

common issue right now with this game as NVIDIA isn't supporting the DX7 therefore causing that issue.
Soon NVIDIA is working on this issue as we type.
