O-320 modelcrankshaft. Crankshaft didn\'t pass the 505 inspection due tovery slight surface corrosion on crank\'s interior wall. Please refer to the second picture for further details. NOcracks and NO other deficiencies were noted.

The size of the crankshaft\'s main bearing journals ranged from 2.3749 to 2.3755; this is within Lycoming\'s published limits.The size of the crankshaft\'s rod bearing journals ranged from 2.1240 to 2.1242; this is within Lycoming\'s published limits.These readings were independently verified by Aircraft Engine & Accessory Co. Inc. and subsequently confirmed by an aircraft mechanic in Florida.The main and rod journals are standard size, and the bore diameter measures to 1.905.Canstill be used for an air boat or probably even an experimental aircraft. Aircraft Engine & Accessory Co. Inc. performed the inspection.Willing to sell for $1,150, or best offer (OBO).

From my understanding and from what I\'ve heard, the way the AD is worded, this crank maystillbe airworthy for Lycomings rated under 160HP. However, I\'m not an A&P/AMT, so please consult a professional prior to using this crankshaft for airworthy applications. I\'m overhauling my engine to 160hp, so this definitely won\'t meet my application.
