i have in EAW v1.28 the external view , the plane camera is shifted upwards (as attached)

could it be as V1.26 ??
in v 1.26 the external view is the default of the game

Which version of 1.28 are you using?
What is your screen resolution in 1.28 and 1.28?

Normally a screen-shot is the same size as the EAW screen resolution. Earlier versions of EAW had a width limit and you got coloured stripes down the right hand edge.
Your pictures are of different sizes and they are not one of the standard EAW sizes.

Using 1.26e and then 1.28 basic at 1680x1050 for the same mission





I think that the max screen width for screenshots is 1280 in the early versions of EAW and the 1.28 series.

my resolution 1366x768 and my screenshot was taken from a mobile so it appears like that.
the external view F9 in V1.28 the plane is shifted upwards (it even appears to your attached v.1.28 screenshot) and i should press U to make it center as V.126.
