These "flat" shots don't convey how much more solid and photorealistic this sim looks in VR. A totally different experience.

I loved reading about WW2 fighters as a kid. I laboriously built a 1/32 scale Revell P-51D and was thrilled a few years later when I bought a book on the air war and found a photo of "my P-51" in flight, complete with the exact same markings and serial number as the model in my bedroom.
That model was gone after the infamous garage sale that took place when I was at college. To be fair, my parents were moving house and I might even have given permission to sell it, much to my later regret.
But I recently downloaded a P-51D skin from the IL-2 Sturmovik of E2 S, serial number 413926, my beloved plane, and now can fly it in VR. What times we live in!
