RIP Olivia Newton-John

Due to an editing error, a closing scene in which Danny and Sandy kiss was removed from the finished print and lost before its theatrical release. The scene was preserved only in black-and-white; Kleiser (the DIRECTOR) attempted to have the existing footage colorized and restored to the film for the film's re-release in 1998 but was dissatisfied with the results. The scene is included as an extra on the 40th anniversary home video release, and Kleiser hopes to make another attempt at colorizing the footage that is effective enough for the footage to be inserted into the film as he originally intended by the time the film's 50th anniversary comes in 2028

Would give anything to have an old-school rink again (70's/80's tunes only). A fantastic way to burn an absurd amount of calories in ~3 hours.

The last one I went to was circa 1982 and I actually remember the details of that day pretty well. All of the old school roller skating rinks in the Miami area were gone by the late 80's.

Yeah, the most current song I remember playing at our rink (before it closed) was VH's "Jump" (1984). Also Rush's "Tom Sawyer" was popular along with some other current Rock tunes mixed in with the regular 70's/80's Disco/Dance/Funk rink staples.

So she was 30 in 1978, when Grease came out. So I was in love with someone who could have been my Mom.
I would have guessed she was early 20's at most.

Wasn't Stockard Channing like in her 40's when that movie was made.

Stockard Channing, At 33 she was the oldest cast member to play a high school student, and Kleiser (director) made her and the other actors playing students take a "crow’s feet test" ??? to see whether they could pass for younger in close-ups.Softer focus was used on some of the older actors' faces.

ONJ was the real deal. No celebrity status getting to her head here.
