Inside pitches are not legal? That's the cause of this fight. 8 ejected but I think both team should be barred from the rest of the season.

If there were no teeth lost, it was not a fight. It's was pushing and shoving. Hockey fights are better.

I guess anything that makes baseball more interesting for the masses is welcomed. MLB is currently going through a diminishing audience crisis.

I'm sure getting hit by a 91 mph is no picnic, but as long as it isn't at the head it's part of baseball. The batter and the pitcher are meant to "fight" over the space over the plate. When the batter gets a little too comfortable and close to the plate, he gets a little reminder to back off by the pitcher.

I seen hockey players fight with the sticks.

I am very dispirited when these baseball players didn't use bats.

Composite sticks are no where near the weapon a baseball is. Wooden hockey sticks have not been used for over 25 years.
Also, using your stick is not a fight.
