North Vietnamese commandos made a series of daring raids on airfields in Thailand
At first thought, I was thinking that was one heck of a hike. Checked the map and mentioned US base locations and not real far from Laos. 60 klicks to guys who walked from North Vietnam. Not real far.
Surprised they didn't do it more. I do know we trained the Thais up a lot, and the Thai troops had a good rep as far as I remember.
No big surprise they weren't publicized.
