I've not seen the video yet but out of curiosity when was the last time Canadian naval forces saw combat? Would it have been Korea?

I didn't know that. You have me curious now so I'll do some research.

Indeed!
Of his recent submissions, I was particularly surprised about the WW1 U-Boat campaign.
I don't want to hijack this topic (probably worth a topic on its own),
but let just sink such numbers as the U-boat campaign of WW1 with ~350 U-Boats built, sank ~12 million tons of shipping, while ~1150 U-Boats of WW2 sank ~15 million worth of shipping. I never expected the WW1 campaign to be that huge.

"Very sorry, but we've put a hole in your ship. Well, not really sorry since we did it deliberately, but don't take it personally, eh? No hard feelings. Here, have a Moosehead."

Molson is reserved only for the most vile wartime enemies of Canada.

I had some Moosehead 40 years ago in Alaska. If Molson is worse than that, I'll pass.

Did you mean Libya?
"On 12 May 2011, HMCS Charlottetown came under fire by small craft off the coast of Libya. This was the first time that a Canadian naval vessel had been under hostile attack since the Korean War."

Really not sure. The RCN has had vessels in the area for years now and has been involved in stopping piracy and has had a few encounters with the Iranian navy AFAIK. The last time I remember reports of the exchange of fire between vessels was 2010 0r 2011
