Is 2018 better than 2019?

Can´t say, I only have 2015 and don´t remember how it was.

I found 2018 a lot better than 2019. For 2019, they changed the career mode so that a ‘rival’ will promote with you from the junior formula. This whole story line is not only incredibly annoying, but also causes TWO F1 drivers to get booted out of your F1 game, instead of just one to make room for you. I also preferred the car upgrade system from 2018 and the ‘special events’ with which you had to do fun challenges with some of my favorite F1 cars of all time.

I would go for 2018 over 2019 any day, and you can’t beat free

I got it. I don't know why, but I did. I have 3-4 racing games I've never played. Maybe some day when I get a wheel.

I've played both and I like 2019 a bit more. I find the solo career mode more immersive and the graphics looks even nicer.

Could be due to the "one day when I retire and have all the time in the world to play all of these games" syndrome. Don't worry, I know many people with this syndrome.
