As a long time musician ( but not a writer ) this sounds great to me. I have played for about 50 years and often marvel at the similarity between melodies that have sprung from completely unrelated sources or even cultures.

Good on them I say smile

What has always fascinated me about music in general is how certain songs and melodies are still very well remembered by societies today while other songs and melodies are long forgotten. Let's take classical music for example. How many people would immediately recognize "Moonlight Sonata" by Beethoven or "Ride of the Valkyries" by Wagner compared to "Tarare" by Antonio Salieri?

The Salieri as so wonderfully depicted by F. Murray Abraham in "Amadeus" was indeed right after all. smile

PM, I am convinced that if society ever breaks down, you will be more adversely affected by the lack of entertainment media than the lack of food and water. wink
