Aron Eisenberg, played ‘Nog’ on ‘Star Trek: Deep Space Nine’ spinoff series, dies at 50Man that's way too young. At first I couldn't stand his character on DS9, but he grew into a great cast member. I guess that was the point.

Met him twice at a Star Trek con in my city. Very nice guy and very funny. My girlfriend and I both noticed he did not look good last time we saw him.

RIP Nog.
One of my twin brothers was born with one functioning kidney. About 40 years ago his twin gave him one of his when his other kidney failed.
