Wow indeed. Come on France, sort yourselves out. You don't just dump pets when your bored of them, there family.

I don't know what the numbers are for the U.S. on that, but whatever they are, it is too high...

France is not the only country that does such a thing. I have been around this planet to know that many other countries do it as well. In the USA not much since they regards their pets as a fellow human (part of the family) but it happens just not prevalent.

That's why I'll never get a dog, I know my self enough to know that I can't have enough care for a dog. Cats live their lives in their own way, like me, and some times a little hug, great for me.
