Saddened and at a loss for words

Hmmm... a pile on Monday... First Vegas, now Tom Petty... :-(

So many of his songs are just awesome. A truly sad day... R.I.P Tom Petty.

Same age as I, we had mutual friends in Gainesville, FL where he was from, and one of my oldest friends was his manager for years...and yet we never met.

So many KILLER songs...gonna skip the mainstream stuff, here's just a very few of my "other" favorites of TP's.

66 is way too young. I really hope he pulls through this.

He didn't pull through unfortunately. Sad news

Tom has now joined George and Roy, they are probably jamming away already, like the good old days. Such musical talent as will never be seen again!

RIP.

Hard to believe that Jeff Lynne and Bob Dylan are the last remaining Traveling Wilburys.
